Section of teaching Arabic to foreigners
Introduction:
Ever since it was founded by
Al-Fatih Islamic Institute in 2003/2004, this section has
made great strides in the filed of teaching Arabic to
foreigners. It has so far graduated a number of students who
proved eligible to pursue studies at Arab universities.
The section adopts a special
series of four-level books, published by the leading
publishing center, Dar al-Fikr, under the title, 'Arabic
for Non-Arabs'. The first-level and second-level books
were published in 2005. The other two, approved by the
board, are still under preparation.
Candidates undergo a
placement test to determine one of the four language levels
of the series.
