AL-Fatih Islamic Society in lines
AL-Fatih Islamic society was established by
the Sheikh Muhammad Saleh al-Farfour
and a good choice of his students; supported by a group of
merchants and some distinguished men from Damascus. On
14/9/1375 H. it was officially
declared as a society.
Objectives and aims of the society:
Teaching Arabic Language and Shari’ah.
To spread the education and culture
of Islam.
To preserve the Islamic Arabic
culture intellectually and spiritually.
To set up nurseries (crèches),
orphanages and infirmaries.
To set up Shari’ah schools and
institutes of various stages.
To establish high institutes,
colleges and universities of various fields of
specialization.
To establish clinics, a hospital and
medical centers of charity in Damascus and its suburbs.
To offer free medical treatments and
medicine to the students sponsored by the society. These
students will be granted all sorts of charities.
To preach prisoners.
To build mosques and restore the old
erected ones.
To issue periodical (magazines) and
newspapers.
Service offered by the society:
The society provides students with these services:

A six-year scholarship.

Preparatory section students are
granted a monthly payment as an aid. And supplied with
clothes, foods, medical treatment and medicine.

The society ensures accommodation for
Arab and non Arab students. This also includes Syrian
students who come from remote areas and other Syrian
districts.
The Society Constituent Assembly:
It was formed in 1956 A.D./
